HISTORY
In 1967 TEX COOL started out with only a 1963 Chevy Impala and a portable gas welding machine. In 1969 Tex designed a ladder rack for trucks that is still one of the top engineered and best built ladder racks on the market today.A lot has happened in those past 26 years. Still a family business, now run by TEX'S son, Greg Cool, Tex's CoolWeld has grown but still maintains the atmosphere of family that only TEX himself could have instilled.
Today the ladder rack is still engineered to handle the heaviest loads, is easy on your truck bed, and looks good too! We make them to fit not only pick-ups, but vans, service bodies and stake body trucks also.
